4th Grade Boys Travel Team

Who:

Boys entering 4th grade in the fall of 2025 who live in or attend Sparta Area School District.

Cost:

$75 Registration Fee and $75 Uniform Fee due within 7 days after tryouts.

Time Information:

Practice/Tournament dates, times and locations will be communicated once season starts.

Additional Information:

4th Grade Boys season runs approximately November through March.

Practices are typically 2-3 times per week.

Weekend tournaments 6 to 9 times per season.

4+ Tournaments through Great Northwest Basketball League. Others TBD.

Includes one home tournament (parents expected to work this event).

Rosters will be capped at 10 players for registration purposes. Additional players will be placed on a waiting list. Final roster numbers are at SBA's discretion. Evaluations will be held if numbers allow for two teams, and some may be transferred to Sparta's Parks and Rec and YMCA programs. If not enough register to form a team, athletes will be transferred to Parks and Rec and YMCA programs.

Registration fees support tournament entry fees, referees, and coaching expenses.

Registration fees include warm-up, but uniforms are additional cost.

Out of town travel and/or hotel is possible and are not covered by SBA.

Sparta Basketball registration costs are nonrefundable.
